Red Dragon Div.

Martyn Freeman Confirmed 2nd spot with a 4-2 win over John Coburn and showed what a real threat he will be next season.

Div 1.

Nicki Donovan was absolutely Awesome i have never seen a lady dart player throw so much power at the board heavy heavy scoring and clinical finishing don't take my word for it ask anyone that was there,

Gary Lloyd was first to play Nicki, he is top of the division and unbeaten hence the score line 5-1 to Nicki with 3x15 dart legs 17 and 18 was incredible.Next up Paula Clemett Nicki has never beaten her that all changed same again absolutely anihalated 5-1 the score Nicki was just unbelievable we think that she must have borrowed Wayne Warren arm for the evening next 6-0 win over Steve Jones and then last but not least Joe Orme although trailing 2-0 a swift kick up the arse Nicki wins 4-2.With Lloyd Browning and Luke Short to play Nicki can still win the Division.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Report 18th March 2010

John Burton Continues to push Wayne Davies all the way to the finish line with a clinical display of finishing against one time leader of the premier Paul James plus 2 x15 darts legs to come back from 3 - 2 down to win 5-3 with 28.31 ave,Wayne Davies pipped Dai Neads 5-3 in an incredible game of scoreing but doubles let dai down has he fights for premier league survival And a chance to win the top prize next season £1200.00,

Robert Alford slow out of the blocks trailing 3-1 came back and in Dale Hughes words there was nothing i could do to stop him darts of  12,2x13 and 15 for a 5-3 win, But Dale was able to secure 8 points against in form Andy Bates 6-2 with some clinical finishing of his own which included 2x14. Dai Neads Slammed in a massive 7-1 win against Barry 's Richie Boucher to show he has the fight to go for the biggest prize in Welsh Darts Premier League History next season 2011.

Red Dragon Division

Action Action this Division has been the strongest and most keenly competed Division that i can remember Martyn Freeman as shown that he has the minerals to compete for top honour next season alongside John Short Jnr and either Paul Mason or the ever improving Ian (Bomper) Phillips, the last time i saw the big man throw with this drive and determination was against Richie Herbert about 8 years ago, He has defeated previously unbeaten John Short Jnr and Martyn Freeman if he does the impossible and qualify in the hardest division that i can remember fair play 10-4.

Martyn Freeman qualified with some very big results and by throwing International darts,Next season is shaping up to be incredible.

Division 1

Who will join Gary Lloyd and Lloyd Browning in the red dragon next season 4 players will be playing for that last place Richard Coles(Newport)

Kieron Beecham (Caerphilly) Luke Short (Newport) and Paula Clemett (Llanharry) Paula has to play current irish international Nicki Donovan and current leader Gary Lloyd (Cardiff) will be a big ask but Paula is an exceptional player and is getting stronger and stronger.

Division 2

Congratulations Meiron Phillips (Beddau) Champion of the division, Martin Ashton (Rhydyfelin) Runner up,Nigel Moss (Caerphilly) 3rd Unbeaten.

this has been a closely contended division with 2 players going un beaten and with the highest out still to play for which is currently held by john bullock 120 £50.00 to the highest per division.

See you all 1st April bye for now.

March 18th 2010

John Short Jnr (Newport) Promoted to Premier along with Martyn Freeman,(Welsh International) Ian Bomper Phillips requires 15 points with 3 to play to deny Paul Mason (Chepstow)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Report from 4th March 2010

Prem Division Wayne Davies continues his good form with a 6-2 win over pdc player Robert Alford legs of 13 2 x14 and 15 secured a very impressive win and moved him 2 points clear at the top of the premier,Gavin Lloyd eased his relagation worries with a 5-3 win over John Burton legs of 13 and 15 securing the win, Andy Bates (Newport) secured a draw with Paul James with 16 and 15 after trailing 4-2, But then went down 5-3 to Richie Boucher (Barry) doubles was the way to win and Richie hit more than Andy in what was probaly the tighest game of the night.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Report from 18th feb 2010

Prem division Welcomed back an inform Wayne Davies (Caerphilly) who powered his way to a 7-1 victory over Darron Crawford (Newport) a 13darter plus 2 x14 gave Wayne the win and impressive 29.66 average and is looking to be somewhere near his best. Gavin Lloyd has now began to play like he can with a brilliant win against Richie Boucher (Barry) much of the match ave around 30 finished with 26.89 6-2 win, And with the other results being 4-4 Draws the big winner was Wayne Davies who now moves into second behind Paul James (Newport).

Red Dragon Division

John Short Jnr remains top despite dropping his first points in what was a brilliant game between the top two players, Paul Mason opened up with a 180 but John Short slammed in a13 darter and a 15 to lead 2-0 Mason came back with some impressive darts of his own 180 and 140 with 132 finish to lead 3-2 but John (Newport) hit 14 dart winning leg to drew 3-3, Ross Robson (Beddau) was brilliant completed all his fixtures had a 3-3 with Gavin Smart, And lost 4-2 Ian Bomper Phillips (Beddau) ,Ian went on to have a 3-3 with Paul Mason with both players averaging 30 plus. And with another win for Anthony Evans (Chepstow) things at the top couldn't be any closer. John Short Jnr is promoted to the Premier Division.

Division 1

With Gary Lloyd losing points because of players unable to complete there fixtures, Richard Coles moves

to the top despite losing to the impressive Lloyd Browning (Rhondda),Lloyd was in brilliant form hitting two 15 darters in wins over Steve Jones (Caerphilly) And Coles (Newport), Niki Donovan Made a winning return with a win over John James (Newport) but was unable to repeat the performance against Derek Stingemore who had 2 18 darters in a 4-2 win. This division is very close and is way to tight to call with 7 players in with a chance of promotion.

Division 2

Meiron Phillips, Martin Ashton, and Nigel Moss look to be going up but who will be Champion and in what order this has been a closely thought division and the standard very high with John Bullock hitting a 12 darter against Michelle Edwards in 3-1 win and although Jerry Long played well he was up against in form Meiron Phillips and Martin Ashton 4-0 and 3-1 but has showed what a future talent he will be,

Alana Allsopp remains in the hunt with a 3-1 win over Nick Pine (Caerphilly).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Match report to follow. Darron Crawford has found his wallet he dropped it in the dodgers (Newport) and is sorry for any inconvience on thursday 18th feb to any member of the premier league that he may have offended.

20.02.2010

Match report 4th feb 10

Paul James remains in top spot following a superb win against Dale Hughes (Glamorgan) with the score tied 3-3 Paul produced 15 and 17 dart legs to secure the win and move 6 points clear of John Burton (Gwent) who lost to the man of the moment and still unbeaten qualifier Andy Bates 5-3,Andy has an uncanny knack of producing the right darts at the right time for the third match in a row with scores tied 3-3 14 and 16 darts to win the match he still remains behind John level on points.Darron Crawford produced highest ave on the night with a 27.70 beating John Short 5-3 with 3 180s but John was able to continue his march up the table to safety with a 5-3 over the ever improving Gavin Lloyd, Match of the night in Premier was Wayne Davies begining to look like his old self with a brilliant 5-3 win over Richie Boucher (Barry) Wayne was smooth and methodical in his win hitting 220 finish in 4 darts to send Richie to only his 2nd defeat.

Red Dragon Division

Clive Fielding (Gwent) returns from illness straight into the lions den first plays 2nd place man Ross Robson who is in no mood to drop points and remains firmly focused to become the youngest player to qualifier for the Premier Division, Ross wins 6-0 2x14 darters in what can only be descibed as awesome display of darts sponsors looking for an opportunity to invest in a young man that continue's to impress look no further than Ross Robson, Clive then had to play the brilliant John Short Jnr and although John lost the first leg double trouble he set about his marker and won this match 5-1 2x13 1x15 2x18 leg he lost should have won in 12.Paul Mason kept himself in the hunt with a brilliant win over Anthony Evans and moved into 4th with level points with Anthony but 2 games in hand.

Division 1

Paula Clemett (Glamorgan) although not well drag herself with Steve of course to the premier and secured 2 brilliant wins first beating Derek Stingemore 5-1 and then beating inform Joe Orme from Chepstow 4-2.Paula continues to work hard and improve and is an inspirational women's dart player and is living proof that on the oche it does not descrimate.Well done Paula Clemett. Luke Short continues his unbeaten record with wins against Derek and Steve Jones and if he continue's in this form will be there or there abouts, 2 Wins for Richard Coles moves him into 3rd and with Paula just 2 points of Gary Lloyd this division shaping up very nice for the neutral.

Division 2

Although Martin Ashton lost 6 points because Mark Roman is unable to continue yet again he wins 4-0 against Nick Pine and banks another 6 points, looking very strong with 2 180s and powerful finishing he takes nothing for granted watch this space.Martin remains top by 2 points with Nigel Moss having a very goodnight collecting 7 points Meiron moves into 3rd with Jerry Long moving into 4th, Michelle Edwards had her first win with a 3-1 win against young Corey Evans but little 131 first win is not far away and he continue's to work hard and show he has the back bone far beyond his years.

C u all on the 18th feb my birthday so i would like you all to continue with the goodwork play and enjoy Darts.

Match report 21st Jan 2010

Brilliant darts from John Short put an end to the unbeaten record of Richie Boucher although Richie had legs of 14 and 16 it was bottom placed John Short that battled his way to victory hitting 15 dart leg to seal the win 5 legs 3 and John also held new boy Andy Bates to a superb 4 – 4 draw and that was his first points dropped since battling through the qualifiers to play in the Premier League, John Burton ex Welsh International and runner up to the awesome Wayne Warren twice but together a brilliant display of finishing and although had the lower dart average against Darron Crawford defeated him 6-2 Darron 27.16 John 26.70.

Robert Alford begins his Pdc assault in Feb. he warmed up with a 5-3 defeat of Gavin Lloyd 13 dart and 2 x 15 darters 27.70 ave and although went down 5-3 to Andy Bates Bert’s preparations well on track.

Red Dragon Darts Division

Very impressed with the ever improving Ross Robson after defeating 2nd in league John Evans (Gwent) 4 – 2 he then went head to head with the brilliant John Short Jnr with game tied at 2 legs all John holds his throw with a 13 Ross sat on 32 and then Ross leaves tops only for John to check out 72 for 14 dart leg and win 4 – 2, John now leads division and on this form looks unbeatable, he also went on to beat the ever improving John Coburn (Ponty) by 5 legs 1 and this after Coburn had defeated in premier play off’s. John Evans got back to winning ways with a 4-2 win over Gary Taylor (Chepstow) a night of double trouble for Gaz.

Division 1

Gary Lloyd (Cardiff) continues his impressive march towards the Red Dragon Division with a 5-1 win over Dutch player Bob Van Leeuwen and a 3-3 draw with young gun Kieron Beecham and although kieron hit 14 dart and 15 dart legs to defeat new boy Steve Jones 4-2 he lost 4-2 to Richard Coles who has now found some form the man from Newport opened up with 94 finish and followed it with finishes 106 and 101 and signed off with 16 dart leg in his other game 3-3 with Joe Orme from Chepstow. Another Short young Luke opened up his account by following his dad and brother with 6-0 against John James a 4 -2 win against Joe Orme, So evidently the Short family haven’t been short on practise, Derek Stingemore moved into 3rd with a 3-3 against Steve Jones and 5-1 win against John James.

Division 2

My friend and excellent darter Martin Ashton remains top although he suffered his first defeat in what can only be described as an awesome display by Meiron Phillips not 1 leg over 18 darts Meiron threw 4 darts at double’s and hit all 4,Martin bounced back with wins over John Gardener and Daniel Williams, Alana Pushed Meiron all the way although lost 3-1 should have been 2-2, Jerry Long has impressed Good wins against Michelle Edwards and Nick Pine but suffered his first defeat at the hands of Nigel Moss who moved into 2nd place.

Next season matches will be broadcasted live over the internet and all divisions will have selected matches shown.
